Gems are used for purchasing Secret Base locations and decorations. They may be found while hatching Eggs.

How to Find
When you hatch an Egg, usually you can obtain one Gem, multiple Gems can be obtained on Bonus Days. The type of Gem that you find depends on the elemental type of the Pokémon hatched from the Egg. For dual-type Pokémon, the Gem has a chance of being either type.
The chance of finding a Gem when you hatch an Egg depends on how many Eggs you have hatched since you joined the site. The formula is:
- G = X/1000, where X is the total number of Eggs you have hatched and G is the chance of finding a Gem.
To convert G into a percentage, multiply G by 100.
This means that if you have hatched over 1,000 Eggs, you are guaranteed to get Gems every time.
